The capital of the Marche’s Urbino province, this appealing city is an attractive seaside resort, a thriving fishing port. Its elegant broad streets have worthwhile sights to hold your attention and after a day on one of its uncrowded beaches, a fish supper by the sea is hard to beat. At the heart of the city lies the wide main square, Piazza del Popolo. Sipping a cool drink from one of the smart bars flanking the piazza, admire the sea-horses and tritons that decorate the sparkling fountain in the centre. Pesaro is the closest city to the village of Tavullia and home of Valentino Rossi.
The Misano motor racing circuit was designed in 1969 and has always been under private management. The beginning of the 1990s saw the launch of a renovation project which over successive phases guaranteed the future of the circuit.
The new era. In 2005 the circuit launched a radical renovation and modernisation project. A new main entrance was inaugurated, followed in 2006 by the new medical centre, an area of 300 sq. m. which ideally represents the circuit’s historical and scrupulous attention to safety issues. At the end of 2006 the circuit was closed to permit the construction of a new even safer and more beautiful track, capable of hosting MotoGP races. In record-breaking time, only five months, radical work was carried out not only on the track, which was lengthened to 4,180 m with a reversal in the direction of travel (now clockwise), but also on structural parts. There are now four entrances to the circuit, the seating capacity of the stands increased to over 23,000. At the end of this impressive modernisation process the circuit also changed its name, becoming the ‘Misano World Circuit’ in 2007. All of the structural upgrades of the facility have been accompanied with an innovative technological investment as regards the total wiring of the circuit and Wi-Fi coverage for Internet connections over the entire area of around four square km.
By the Variante del Parco, Brutapela Gold is a privileged grandstand, as from this position, spectators might be able to see the straight, and the three Variante turns and possibly the fourth and fifth turn by the Rio Corner.
Our option ticket is for Saturday and Sunday admission to the fabulous C Grandstand. This premier grandstand offers a great panoramic view of the giant hairpin and the Curva Misano. It's a prime spot for overtaking.
The grandstand benefits from a Giant TV screen. The grandstand is very close to bars, food outlets and merchandising stalls. On a practicable note the grandstand is covered. It also has proper wash room facilities!
Located along the twelfth and thirteenth turn, the D Grandstand offers a view to both curves, with possible views to the Carro turn in the distance. Located on turns, this is a great grandstand in which to see track action, such as riders attempting overtakings. Its an uncovered and features a great video screen.
The circuit has two General Admission areas to offer; described as meadows, these grassy banked areas can allow you to view the race from the area between the Rio Turn, Quercia Turn and Tramonto Turn - named Zone 1 - and between the Tramonto Turn and the Curvone turn - named Zone 2. You will be able access both Zones
An opportunity to meet your fellow guests. Talk about the weekend ahead whilst enjoying complementary drinks and snacks. The party is held on Friday evening around the hotel Vittoria’s terraced pool.
If you could arrive on Wednesday or Thursday you could take advantage of the Pesaro festival which takes place prior to the race weekend. The streets of Pesaro are transformed into huge market places with hundreds and hundreds of colourful stalls selling everything imaginable. Also many food and drink stalls and music venues.
For many guests, this visit to Tavullia, which takes place on Saturday, is the reason they have come to the Misano Grand Prix. After the completion of the qualifying sessions our bus takes us to Valentino Rossi’s home town of Tavullia. The town is at fever pitch. Everything is painted in yellow 46’s; the main road, houses, cafes, restaurants, official buildings are all turned yellow. We visit the Rossi fan club and memorabilia shop, before joining the Rossi fans in the local bars and Pizzerias.
The Celebration Dinner has become a much loved part of the MotoExpress race weekend. An opportunity to relax and chat with newly made friends. To recount the wonderful experiences of a high octane race weekend enjoyed.
A traditional Italian feast with complimentary wine served on the terrace of the hotel Vittoria. We dine in typical Italian style, grouped around long tables. The conversation just like the wine flows late into the evening as we relive the excitement of the last few days. A wonderful end to a truly memorable weekend.
Take advantage of our special MotoExpress extra night rates and transform your MotoGP weekend into a wonderful Italian holiday.
It’s so easy to discover the region. The local railway station provides fast access to Bologna. Previous guests have visited the Ducati factory in Bologna and enjoyed a tour of the museum.
The beautiful hill top university city of Urbino can be reached by local buses but perhaps you just want to chill out in your beautiful surroundings of Pesaro and who could argue with that?
For this event you should book flights to Ancona airport. The cost of the flights are not included in the event price.
For more and possibly lower price flight options also consider flying to Bologna. There are frequent train services from Bologna to your hotel at Pesaro, Approx 1hour train journey. Note we can not provide Bologna airport transfers.
The cost of the flights are not included in the event price. Transfers from Ancona airport to your hotel can be added as a cost option during the booking process.

Just to say once again we had a dream time with Moto express Couldn't fault any thing and the extra days just put the icing on the cake So thanks to you both and we will be looking to book again for next year Just can't decide which one!!!!!
Just wanted to say thank you once more for the fabulous weekend at the Misano MotoGP. You and Linda did a fantastic job the whole weekend, from the Welcome Party through to the Farewell Dinner. The grandstand seats were excellent and the visit to Tavulia a great experience. And of course, you even gave up your Friday afternoon to accompany me and other ‘early bird’ arrivals (geeks!) to the Friday free practice. I can honestly say that this was by far an above the best organised MotoGP trip I’ve been on and I very much hope I’ll have the opportunity to travel with you guys again. I’ve attached some photos that I took that by all means you can add to the album should you wish to do so (I can send the larger originals if you prefer). Thanks again to you both.
We invite guests to return to this section after they have attended the race and to share their enjoyment of the event with others. Send your feedback.
